Harvester 620s

The first and only thinning harvester designed for the self-employed forest owner. Our harvester is available in four different trim levels – Basic, Comfort, Pro and Pro Plus.

The target group for Kranman’s thinning harvester 620S is the self-employed forest owner, which means that the criteria and priorities will be different compared to a purely commercial harvester.

The Kranman harvester 620S Pro has separate independent pumps for drive, crane and head. The crane is heavily dimensioned and is 100% parallel, reach 5.4 meters and lifting power amounts to 700 kg on a straight arm. To get the full potential of the crane, we have developed a weight-optimized and stable chassis, which does not require support legs.

Visibility and comfort in the cab are hard to beat. You can sit in the chair and look straight up at the treetops. Control of the machine, crane and head is located in the armrests, which means that you never have to reach forward. The servos levers make the movement of the unit between the trees very easy and accurate. This also reduces the risk of trunk damage.

The driving pedals are on the floor, one pedal for the front and one for the back. If you release the pedal, the handbrake and waist lock engage automatically. Through parallel routing, you work in and out twice as fast as a regular crane. Since the engine is located at the other end of the machine and the cab is rubber suspended, the cab becomes silent.

Apart from the unit, the machine is built without computer controlled electronics. All so that you as a customer get a reliable machine that can be stored and used in its right environment, the forest. We build machines that are easy to drive, reliable and if anything should happen; easy to repair.

The head that is installed on the Kranman 620S is the Finnish Jobo ST50. It is a powerful step-fed head that fells 30 cm and delimbs 25 cm. On Pro and Pro+ trim levels, the Jobo ST50 Estate is available for purchase. It is a combi unit with both roller drive and step-feed. The roller drive can be used on trees up to 20cm.
