Art. no T2000ex
The T2000ex has a hydraulic removable bogie that can be pushed back and forth 56 cm. Flexodrive X drive system is mounted in a powerful double wall chassis. The trailer is amply equipped as standard with high and low gears, self-developed heavy-duty wheels.
The frame control is electro-hydraulic so when driving, the drive is not affected.
Of course, our gravel trailers, grabs and rice bodies fit the trailer and are suitable for use all year round.
Flexodrive X drive system delivers unique terrain characteristics
What makes it possible for you to have high and low gear in the trailer is two hydraulic motors and they run in series or parallel. In high gear, the hydraulic motors run in series. Then all the oil must first go through one hydraulic motor and on to the other. In low gear, you run the engines in parallel, which means that it is like a T-coupling on the hydraulic lines. There, half of the oil goes to one hydraulic motor and half to the other. This principle has many trolleys on the market.
What makes the Flexodrive X drive system unique is that we have chosen to develop a cast gear with two separate connections for the drive motors. This means that both hydraulic motors drive on the same shaft and maintain the same speed. With this solution, the trolley is always 100% differentiated, even in low gear. If you compare with other wagons on the market with high and low gears, there is a hydraulic motor out in each pair of bogies. Then the speed of the engines becomes independent of each other. With our solution, the trolley is completely undifferentiated in low gear.
Example of what happens with low gear without Flexodrive X drive system: You are standing on a patch of ice or the trailer has hung on a stump with one pair of bogies while the other has good traction. Then the pair of bogies that don’t have a grip spin twice as fast. Oil takes the easiest route. If you instead have the Flexodrive X drive system, all the power goes to the wheel pair that has a grip and you as the driver pass the obstacle without any problems.
Another major advantage of the Flexodrive X drive system is that it is possible to have tracks on the trailer and drive with both the rollers in and out. This is made possible by the fact that the hydraulic motors are well protected inside the trailer and do not get in the way of the tracks. This is why we don’t offer low and high gear for the T1850, T1750 and T1710. Instead, we have chosen to develop a simpler design with a hydraulic motor in each pair of bogies. On the wagons, the drive is always run in series, i.e. always 100% diffad. Instead, we offer a double pump solution that is activated with a switch. With that, the speed increases by about 60% – all to maintain the right off-road characteristics a Kranman wagon should have.
